The Pirates are the first team to 50 and lead the Cards in the NL Central by 1.  Raise the Jolly Roger.

First Place, Gotta Love It

The Pirates moved into a tie with St. Louis for the top spot in the NL Central after their 6th straight win.  Jeanmar Gomez returned and Neil  Walker crushed a two run homer to help the Pirates to the win.  They're now 18 over  .500.  Last season's high water mark was 16 over .500.  Keep it rolling Buccos.
