The Pirates have reached the All Star Break and something is a little different from the last couple decades worth of seasons. The Pirates are over .500 and they are competing for the lead in the National League Central.
The pitching has been outstanding and the offense has been enough to win. On Sunday Paul Maholm pitched a great game and Andrew McCutcheon put on an All Star show with 5 RBI's to show why he was named to the All Star team.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the second half of the season will bring. Hopefully more of the same winning ways.
